I'm dead tired of getting attention for crappy fanart. When I first joined i posted hoards of it, and that's what got me pretty much ALL my pageviews. Don't get me wrong, I don't really care about them in general. I just hate thinking someone could get 20,000 pageviews from cruddy fanart that took 5 minutes. For example:

I posted fanart a couple days ago that got me 12 favs. It looks really bad, yet people still just looooved it. About a week before that, I posted some original art that took longer, I enjoyed doing more, and i liked it more, and it got about...5 favs. The thing is, that i loved getting those 5 favs because I did it without people just going "oh, its fanart *fave*" no, they actually LIKED something about the original work. That just makes me really happy.

But all those favs on fanart, they meant NOTHING to me. Most people probably just said "Oh...fanart. yaaaay *fave fave fave*" And that just rips those little shreds of hope you have left, you know? I like getting a fave becuase someone liked the art, not becuase it was fanart.

Also, most of you probably only watched me becuase i did fanart. I doubt any of you really watched me at first becuase of my personality or anything. And when you're getting watched by people with the username "Yin-is-awesum-1111" you KNOW they've barely looked at your journal and just skipped to the cruddy fanart from a year ago.

so basically, Its not the faves, pageviews, watches, or comments in general...its how I got them.

So please don't take this personal guys. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone or anything.

But on this new account, I'll probably post fanart every like...month or so. And its probably gonna be a request, art trade, or something I really wanted to do. Especially Yin Yang Yo! since that's what began to get me in the first place.

And please you guys, if you're gonna comment about how "HOMG YOU B1TCH I HATE YOU YOU NEVER TOLD ME NUTHINZ!!11!!11!eleven!1one" shut up. Seriously, shut UP. I've got my reasons to go. its not like i'm completely leaving dA or anything.
